Youth Pastors Mark and Christina Macedo

Mark began visiting AL in April of ’95. He received Jesus when he was 19 years old and felt called to ministry. He attended Rhema Bible Training Ctr, graduating in 1999 when he joined our Servant Leadership Team. Mark has a passion for young people and a desire to see them grow and mature in God! Mark believes every young person has the potential for greatness! He ministers in a direct way that is relevant for issues facing today’s youth. Mark also helps with; hospitality and outreach, sound board tech, overhead tech, church calendar layouts, children’s ministry, cleaning teams organization, grounds projects, administrative organization, follow-up ministry and hospital visitation. Worth mentioning, as well, Mark is a seriously dangerous adversary in our paintball wars!

Christina graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in 2004, then returned and joined our ministry team. She works with Mark in youth ministry, Praise and Worship team leader, hospitality and outreach, bookkeeping, special events coordinator, children’s ministry and various other areas. She is particularly gifted with detail work and organization. One of her greatest strengths includes a genuine love and acceptance of everyone she knows, seeing value and potential in others that they are often unaware of. She also enjoys finding fun and unusual activities for our church family to enjoy together.

Mark and Christina have a heart to build up others by reinforcing how God values everyone as unique individuals. They are both part of our strategic planning Dream Team.

Nursery Ministry Administrator

Wendy Vogel

Wendy has a heart to see the youngest members of our church family ministered to on their level! She enjoys finding creative ways to tell them how much God loves them. Her professional career involving work specific to children has spanned 19 years, thus far. Wendy helps with the practical organization of our nursery ministry as well as prayer for each child with our nursery teams. Nurturing our littlest members in spirit, soul and body with God’s love is our emphasis. Our goal is to convey that every child is a gift from God and treated as such. Wendy is multi-faceted in how she helps support and build the ministry at AL. Besides the administration of the nursery ministry, she also helps as; Worship Leader, worship team member, hospitality and outreach and various church-related projects. She is also on our Dream Team finding relevant ways to grow stronger as a church so as to reach out more effectively into our community and world.
